The Game Plan

So many have stated that they dont understand how the Walgeen's deal is working. I will try to explain it a little better.

This week Walgreens has diapers and sale 2 for $9 <---- This is what I am really wanting to buy and stock up on. If you dont need diapers you can get anything else and this will still work

Following instructions are only if you want 2 for $5 diapers
1. If you go to the Walgreen's Pharmacy and say "what do I need to ask about to get one of the $50 in savings coupon booklets?" They will either tell you they are all out or they will give you a spill about their Walgreen's savings plan...or they will say they don't know what your talking about <--lf they say this tell they that it is a red booklet that has a big $50 on it. Once you get the coupon booklet there is a coupon in it for $2 off Walgreen's diapers (you only need one coupon it will take $4 off at checkout)
grab 2 packs of Diapers and 2 packs of Walgreen's wipes (the wipes should be $1.99)

2. pick up ...
Colgate @ $3.49
Chap stick @ $1.99
Edge energy shave gel @ $2.99

3. go to register and ask the cashier "is it ok if I do 2 transactions" They should say yes ...if they say no, you are at a sucky Walgreen's and I would leave...or you can buy the Colgate, toothpaste, and chap stick and go back later and buy the diapers with you register rewards. (I like to ask them if I can do 2 transactions because they seem to be a little more friendlier when I do that rather that spring it on them)

4. first transaction
buy..
Colgate
chap stick
shave gel
your total should be around $9.00
pay for these
when the cashier gives you your receipt they will give you 3 register rewards (one for $3.50, $3.00, and $2.00)

5. Now check out your diapers and wipes (remember to give them your coupon)
for the 2 diapers and the 2 wipes your total should be around $9.70

6. pay for them with your register rewards of $8.50
7. now you will owe about $1.20

TA DA you just got toothpaste , shave gel and chap stick 2 packs of diapers and 2 packs of wipes for $10. You saved about $20!!!!

you can do this with anything you are buying at Walgreen's... I am just doing it with the diapers because I have 2 kids in diapers and we go through them like CRAZY!!! But if you don't have kids and you were buying Easter candy or something you can but the toothpaste. shave gel , and chap stick ...then your candy!

*** my favorite walgreens are goodman and hwy 51 ...and the one in Hernando (the cleanest walgreens i have ever seen)
*** try to avoid times when they will be busy ..like lunch time and rush hour
